Typically used to retain track ballast on bridges and to protect trackside facilities on embankments.
Designed as an alternative to existing steel, concrete and wooden sideboards, the Glass Reinforced Polymer Ballast Panel Systems bring great benefits and efficiencies to the process of installation combined with a low life-cycle cost.
Suitable for new projects or end of life board replacement, the GRP system is typically used to retain track ballast on bridges and to protect track-side facilities on embankments. Non-metallic construction makes them nil scrap value to thieves. Much lighter in weight than traditionally used materials, but just as strong, the panels can be produced to withstand all required loading capacities. They are easy to transport, quicker to install and offer a zero maintenance, long lifespan.
