GRP EverDeck Panel

A complete, composite platform decking panel, with load bearing ability. With a 25 year design life, EverDeck offers an alternative to traditional resin coated birch ply boards.  The panel provides a slip resistant, durable surface incorporating a one piece tactile paving strip, all required safety line markings and a hidden fixing system.

Designed for use on a trestle platform system, EverDeck is fully weather and impact resistant and produced in accordance with the requirements of Network Rail Business Document NR/PS/RES/0030 (formerly RT/E/PS/00030) Issue 2 dated June 2005.

• EverDeck has been independently tested in 2006 by Sheffield Hallam University.
• Key product advantages include a 25 year design life and the flexibility of being able to cut the panels on site if required.

• EverDeck panels are 27mm thick with a 53mm thick bull-nose on the trackside edge to provide additional stability for the overhang.

• Supplied in a standard width of 1200mm,
• Everdeck panels are produced to individual site specifications based on the existing trestle layout and gauging, as requested by the client.
• Evergrip are able to offer the panels, with their attendant advantages, at competitive prices when compared to traditional boards.

To date, EverDeck panels have been successfully in service for over 2 years.

GRP Overlay Panel

A 10mm thick composite Overlay Panel designed to renew the surface of old wooden decked trestle platforms. The panel provides a slip resistant, durable surface incorporating a one piece tactile paving strip, all required safety line markings and a hidden fixing system.

The panels are fully weather and impact resistant and produced in accordance with the requirements of Network Rail Business Document NR/PS/RES/0030 (formerly RT/E/PS/00030) Issue 2 dated June 2005.

• This composite 10mm thick solid panel, with a 25 year design life is for use on existing wooden clad trestle platforms.
• Panels are available in a standard size of 2500mm deep & 1200mm wide.
• Panels can also be manufactured to the client's specification.
• In addition to the standard board, the panels are available in a plain black version and also a flat format for ramp ends & shelter areas.
• Mechanically fixed boards are supplied pre-drilled and countersunk ready for installation. During possession times, this has enabled the boards to be fitted at a rate in excess of 20 per night, per team.

New from Evergrip for 2008 is the sectional GRP Trestle platform support system.

• Based on the existing wooden design, the new construction is manufactured from GRP pultruded sections.

• Because of its relatively light weight, the Evergrip Trestle System can offer the contractor a choice of either pre-assembly under factory conditions and location via crane or easy handling and rapid assembly on site, resulting in savings on craneage, possessions & isolations.

• Another feature offered by this system is the incorporation of the rear fence and trellis also in GRP.

GRP Platform Repair Boards

A rapid semi-permanent fix solution for damaged and dangerous platform surfaces made from slip resistant 6mm thick black GRP substrate with chamfered and highlighted edges.

• For instant patch repairs to damaged platforms,repair boards are made from slip resistant 6mm thick black GRP substrate with chamfered and highlighted edges.
• The product is available in a flat format or with a white highlighted return for use at platform edges.
• Standard size is 1200 x 1200mm in both versions or available made to measure.
• Rapid screw down installation ensures the immediate, long lasting and safe repair of hazardous surfaces.
